Kira Kamamalu will be hosting a fashion brainstorming session all about wearable art. Join artist/fashionistas Sahra Indio, Shelly Moen Hoist and Jessi Diederich for this fun and fashionable event, presented by Kira in collaboration with Holualoa Gallery.
Inside the Holualoa Gallery owner/artist, Matthew Lovein will be showing new ceramic work while Michael Zack will be demonstrating his artistic cigar box guitars along with his wife Marga, who makes the gig bags and straps for them. Maestro Andrew Sweeney will be providing vocals and piano outside the gallery, along with Kona Dogs gourmet street food and Holoholoz Fresh Fish ono grinds.
Cinderella’s will be featuring artist/craftswoman, Kerrie Brown Colvin and her lovely handbags and accessories made from Kona coffee burlap bags.
Pat Pearlman Designs, in the historic pink Kona Hotel, will feature October’s birthstone, opal and tourmaline in a rainbow of colors.
Glyph Art Gallery welcomes a new artist to the gallery on Friday, Cindy Coats. She’s been creating her unique style of bold and colorful, pattern and texture intensive paintings for many years, and is now expanding beyond her own gallery. Her cheerful work is a perfect antidote for trying times.
